When your vehicle is stuck in knee deep mud, bogged in the desert during sweltering temperature or having to recover your mate off the beach, reliability, performance and durability of your recovery gear is paramount. You can rely on ARB recovery products for you and your vehicle’s safety.

The updated ARB Weekender Recovery kit sports a new heavy-duty PVC outer shell and modernised color way. The 600gsm PVC outer provides a rugged exterior perfect for recovery situations, provides easier cleaning and keeps the bag from getting damp. Still keeping the slim design allows easy storage in the car or ARB Outback Solutions drawers, keeping vital vehicle recovery equipment on hand should the need arise.

Included in the kit is the high-quality ARB 8,000 kg vehicle recovery strap (ARB705 Snatch strap) which has been a winner of many recovery strap tests throughout Australia and the world), two type “S” Galvanized 4.75t rated shackles, one set of cow grain leather palm with cow split leather back gloves and the updated rugged 600gsm PVC recovery bag with dual internal pockets highlighted in the ARB topographic styling.

The dual compartments provide space for a recovery dampener (sold separately) to further complement your weekend recovery setup and great add on sales opportunities. When selecting a vehicle recovery strap (Snatch strap) it is recommended that the minimum breaking strength of the strap should be between 2 and 3 times the gross vehicle mass (GVM) of any vehicle it is used with, and that the strap must be suited to the GVM of the lighter of the 2 vehicles used in the recovery process.

The 8,000kg recovery strap is therefore suitable for vehicles with a GVM between the range of 2,650kg - 4,000kg encompassing all 4wd Light Commercial Vehicles and 4wd Wagons (excluding Iveco Daily & OKA). This is to be used as a general guide only.

All Sale & Ex-Display items all carry their usual manufacturers guarantee/warranty. Some Ex-Display items may have minor cosmetic defects or shop soiling.

UK Mainland and International orders are sent via Courier. Most orders are dispatched within 24 hours, and are sent on a next day service (UK Mainland Only), however sometimes it can take 3-5 working days for you to receive your delivery depending on how busy the Courier network is and any shipping disruptions.

Click and Collect is available at no charge to our branches. Customers will be contacted upon completion of their orders and notified that they are now ready for collection.

We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

To start a return, you can contact us at customerservice@douglassmotors.uk. If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Shipping

We use DHL or TNT to ship your Douglass Motors order to you as quickly and safely as possible. Occassionaly some of our suppliers may delivery directly to you using an alternative courier, or their own vehicles.

Payments

We accept all major Credit and Debit card providers in addition to ApplePay, GPay, ShopPay and Laybuy. Unfortunately, we cannot accept cheques or money orders.

Douglass Motors uses 3D Secure Verification and leading payment partner Stripe to handle all secure payment transactions.

At this time the only alternative payment method supported is Laybuy.
