Welcome to the Douglass Motors Service & Aftersales Department. Since 1973 we have endeavoured to give the customer the highest standards of service and aftersales care. Our service department predominantly covers Land Rovers, 4X4s and SUVs but we can also service all makes and models of vehicle.
We will provide a price for all jobs on request so you always know what the costs will be upfront.
Electronic fault finding or complex fault finding are all commonly bundled under the title Diagnostics. This type of repair work requires a combination of vehicle specific electronic diagnostic tools, access to manufacturers data specific to your car and the skill, experience and judgement of the technician carrying out the repair work; often all three simultaneously.
At Douglass Motors we have invested in the most effective and current diagnostic equipment for your car, including Opus/Autologic connected tool, Bosch KTS tool, AutoCom and a PicoScope Oscilloscope.
All our technicians are qualified or working towards qualification with a combined experience in repairing cars that supports repairs of even the most complex faults.
We are willing to tackle all and any faults on your vehicle with few exceptions.
Loan Cars - Vehicle Recovery - Customer Collection
We have courtesy vehicles available to make servicing your vehicle so much more convenient. Please book your service approximately 10-14 days in advance to guarantee that a loan car is available.
You get more flexibility with Douglass Motors.
For local customers we can collect you or your vehicle from home, your place of work or the train station. If your vehicle is not able to be driven, then we can arrange to recover it.

If you prefer to wait while we service your vehicle we’ll do our very best to make you as comfortable as possible. We have free wi-fi, complementary hot and cold drinks, and somewhere comfortable to sit. You can catch up on the latest series on your smart device, use your laptop to continue working, or take a look around our amazing new retail space.
