Have you ever been driving for long hours behind the wheel and looking forward to a nice cold beverage when you arrive at your destination? ARB has designed the perfect solution to ensure your food and drinks stay cold with the all new ARB Remote Monitor which allows you to monitor the operating condition of your ARB electric coolbox from the comfort of your driving seat.
Utilising clever wireless transmitting technology, the ARB remote electric coolbox monitor displays operating conditions such as internal electric coolbox temperature, supply voltage and compressor status of your ARB electric coolbox on a conveniently located backlit display for the driver to monitor whilst in transit.
What sets the ARB electric coolbox monitor apart from others are innovative features such as an integrated wiring circuit within the electric coolbox combined with clever wireless transmitting technology which provides 30m (100ft) line of site or 15m (50ft) interrupted transmission range. The strength of signal is very important for 4wd’ers and tourers alike as the electric coolbox may be located in an enclosed area of your caravan, recreational vehicle, service body or camper yet the remote display can still receive an interrupted signal within a distance of 15m (50ft).
Many of our people carry 2 separate ARB electric coolboxes, often with the hope of a freezer full of fish on the return journey. The ARB electric coolbox monitor can display up to 2 electric coolboxes with the addition of second transmitter (sold separately). Another innovative feature is the ability to change the transmission frequency so that you do not inadvertently monitor another electric coolbox in your convoy.
Once you’re setup at camp, simply remove your ARB Remote Display from its quick release holder, plug in the power supply via your portable power pack, and sit back and monitor your fridge from the comfort of your camp chair, tent or caravan.

Wireless Transmitter
The transmitter has been designed to attach neatly at the back of the fridge. The antenna mounts to the side of the transmitter keeping it within the confine of the fridge. The temperature transmitted to the display is the same internal temperature as shown on the display. The device has been tested to the relevant international standard for compliance with the following regulations and directives:

Display
Primary readout on the display is the fridge temperature and DC voltage at the electric coolbox (the letters AC will appear when the electric coolbox is plugged into an AC power supply). The display also shows which electric coolbox is being monitored and the frequency channel. The same LED indicator lights used on the electric coolbox control panel are also used in the remote display to indicate the status of the compressor and or troubleshooting a potential problem via the “check” LED.
The large LCD screen has been designed so it does not distract the driver particularly during night time driving, yet a single push of the mode button turns on the backlight (automatically goes off after 10 seconds) to enable you to view the display in low light or glare conditions. Power to the display is via the supplied 12V plug and 1.2m (3’11”) lead.
UK Mainland and International orders are sent via Courier. Most orders are dispatched within 24 hours, and are sent on a next day service (UK Mainland Only), however sometimes it can take 3-5 working days for you to receive your delivery depending on how busy the Courier network is and any shipping disruptions.
Click and Collect is available at no charge to our branches. Customers will be contacted upon completion of their orders and notified that they are now ready for collection.

We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

Shipping
Most of our orders are shipped to you by DHL. On orders under £50.00 you will be presented with the option to choose from available couriers who you'd like to pay to have ship your order. In all instances you will be sent tracking information or contact details regarding your shipment.
We aim to get your Douglass Motors order to your door as quickly as possible, typically within 1-3 business days using our standard courier services. Some exceptions apply.

Yes! As soon as your item has been dispatched by the team here at Douglass Motors you will receive tracking information by sms and email.
Payments
We accept all major Credit and Debit card providers in addition to ApplePay, GPay, ShopPay and Laybuy. Unfortunately, we cannot accept cheques or money orders.
Douglass Motors uses 3D Secure Verification and leading payment partner Stripe to handle all secure payment transactions.
At this time the only alternative payment method supported is Laybuy.
