MUD-UK Defender heated mirror elements are unlike any other heated mirror element. They use the same carbon impregnated Glasscloth technology found in underfloor heating and high-end bathroom mirror applications. Unlike traditional printed circuit heated mirror elements the current flow in flexible glasscloth is across the whole surface area of the element. This results in a larger ‘heated’ surface area and avoids the “striping” effect of traditional elements. The mirror elements have no fine circuits which can damage easily and offer improved durability and performance over traditional printed circuit elements.
The heated mirror elements are supplied with self-adhesive backing. Peel off the backing and stick the element to the back of the Defender mirror glass.
Also supplied with a fitting kit that consists of 4m of twin core wire, assorted terminals and a relay. A switch is not supplied which allows the installer to match up any existing switches already installed.
The wiring can be concealed within the arm of the wing mirror, to create a neat and tidy finish.
Elements measure 115mm x 167mm.
UK Mainland and International orders are sent via Courier. Most orders are dispatched within 24 hours, and are sent on a next day service (UK Mainland Only), however sometimes it can take 3-5 working days for you to receive your delivery depending on how busy the Courier network is and any shipping disruptions.
Click and Collect is available at no charge to our branches. Customers will be contacted upon completion of their orders and notified that they are now ready for collection.

We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.
To start a return, you can contact us at customerservice@douglassmotors.uk. If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Shipping
Most of our orders are shipped to you by DHL. On orders under £50.00 you will be presented with the option to choose from available couriers who you'd like to pay to have ship your order. In all instances you will be sent tracking information or contact details regarding your shipment.
We aim to get your Douglass Motors order to your door as quickly as possible, typically within 1-3 business days using our standard courier services. Some exceptions apply.
Yes, absolutely! If your order has been lost or damaged in transit then please contact us right away. You can do that here.
Yes! As soon as your item has been dispatched by the team here at Douglass Motors you will receive tracking information by sms and email.
Payments
We accept all major Credit and Debit card providers in addition to ApplePay, GPay, ShopPay and Laybuy. Unfortunately, we cannot accept cheques or money orders.
Douglass Motors uses 3D Secure Verification and leading payment partner Stripe to handle all secure payment transactions.
At this time the only alternative payment method supported is Laybuy.
