Terrafirma Expedition Awnings are available in a variety of widths from 1.2m to 2.5m and designed to be easily mounted to the side or rear of a roof rack or other solid structure, directly via the integral T slot extrusion back panel. Set up takes just a few minutes, ideally with 2 people for the wider awnings. The grey 400D water resistant ripstop fabric extends 2.1m away from the vehicle and is tensioned using extendable alloy beams and supported by 2 alloy twist & lock poles. Strong guy ropes keep the awning in place once set up.

When stowed away the awning and poles all fit perfectly into its own built-in heavy-duty PVC coated nylon cover.
To provide shade and shelter for all weather conditions ‘rooms’ are available for the 2m and 2.5m awnings. The awning ‘room’ which is made up of a roof and 4 sides with a zip-in floor, hangs from the awning frame once opened using slots in the front rail & back panel, plastic hooks & Velcro loops and can be pegged out to secure it to the ground. The room is made from similar weatherproof 200D grey ripstop fabric. Front door and side windows zip open and closed and include mosquito nets. It is possible to unzip most of the back wall to allow access to the vehicle.
A simple front extension completes the range, made from grey 200D ripstop fabric, this rain/windbreak or sunshade attaches to the extruded aluminium front rail and is tightened at an angle down to the ground & held in place with a series of pegs and is available for all awnings from 1.2 to 2.5m wide. The Terrafirma Expedition Awning range all extend from the car by 2.1m which makes the awning side extension a useful really addition, like the front extension it attaches to either side rail and is tightened at an angle down to the ground to provide quick and easy extra shade or shelter.

UK Mainland and International orders are sent via Courier. Most orders are dispatched within 24 hours, and are sent on a next day service (UK Mainland Only), however sometimes it can take 3-5 working days for you to receive your delivery depending on how busy the Courier network is and any shipping disruptions.
Click and Collect is available at no charge to our branches. Customers will be contacted upon completion of their orders and notified that they are now ready for collection.

We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

Shipping
Most of our orders are shipped to you by DHL. On orders under £50.00 you will be presented with the option to choose from available couriers who you'd like to pay to have ship your order. In all instances you will be sent tracking information or contact details regarding your shipment.
We aim to get your Douglass Motors order to your door as quickly as possible, typically within 1-3 business days using our standard courier services. Some exceptions apply.

We accept all major Credit and Debit card providers in addition to ApplePay, GPay, ShopPay and Laybuy. Unfortunately, we cannot accept cheques or money orders.
Douglass Motors uses 3D Secure Verification and leading payment partner Stripe to handle all secure payment transactions.
At this time the only alternative payment method supported is Laybuy.
