UK Mainland and International orders are sent via Courier. Most orders are dispatched within 24 hours, and are sent on a next day service (UK Mainland Only), however sometimes it can take 3-5 working days for you to receive your delivery depending on how busy the Courier network is and any shipping disruptions.

Click and Collect is available at no charge to our branches. Customers will be contacted upon completion of their orders and notified that they are now ready for collection.

Douglass Motors offset our carbon emissions produced by all of our deliveries. We are supporting the Pachama project, more details can be found here.

We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

To start a return, you can contact us at customerservice@douglassmotors.uk. If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Pre Engine Checks

  1. Check for damage to bodywork, lamps and trims
  2. Fit protective covers
  3. Check condition and operation of all seat belts
  4. Check operation of interior and exterior lights
  5. Check operation of ABS and/or air bag warning lights
  6. Check windscreen washers and wipers
  7. Check horn
  8. Check operation of suspension dampers
  9. Check air conditioning operation including bad odour

Under The Bonnet

  1. Check and top up engine oil
  2. Check and record brake fluid condition
  3. Check all auxiliary drive belts (not timing belt)
  4. Check power steering operation and fluid condition
  5. Check battery and lubricate terminals
  6. Check and top up all under bonnet fluid levels
  7. Check and record antifreeze/coolant protection
  8. Check cooling system for leaks, cooling fan operation and heater output
  9. Check the condition and security of exhaust
  10. Carry out tyre report

To Finish

  1. Road test vehicle and report any findings
  2. Ensure vehicle is left clean (upholstery, gear lever, steering wheel etc.)
